Mark Hill is an entertainment photographer based in Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN.  Mark was born and raised in Oklahoma City. While still a fan of the football team, he left the University of Oklahoma after exhausting the school’s photography classes within three semesters. Mark high-tailed it to the largest private art school in the country, the School of Visual Arts, in New York City. After graduating with a BFA in photography, Mark stayed in New York for the next 8 years, operating his own Manhattan studio and shooting mostly food photography for cookbooks and publications like The New York Times Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Alfred A. Knopf and Family Circle. Seeking a change in work and weather, Mark then headed south to Atlanta, Georgia where he became Directory of Photography for Turner Broadcasting. For 20 years, Mark managed and mentored a merry band of young photographers. At the same time, Mark was behind the camera – both still and video -- for all the Turner networks, including CNN, Headline News, TBS, TNT, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network, and TruTV. From photographing politicians and on-air personalities to celebrities and professional athletes, Mark sure got around in those two decades. Whether on location or in the studio, Mark created key art, and video for the marketing of many high-profile productions. You may have seen his work in The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Variety, and USA Today. Despite being nominated for Emmy awards in 2010 and 2011, Mark remains a simple guy. He can often be found camping with his son’s Cub Scout pack, perfecting his smoked ribs, or searching for discounted tee times at public golf courses. Recent entertainment clients: NBC, USA, HBO, Lifetime, Starz, HGTV, SYFY, WeTV, Bravo, Food Network, A+E, CNN, Adult Swim.  Recent corporate clients: AT&T, Georgia Power, Contractor Connection, The General Insurance Company, Doosan America.
